Private Pool Villa Sebaa, Marrakesh

We stayed for 4 nights at Villa Sebaa in Marrakesh, in July 2019. We could only stay 4 nights since the villa was already booked for many of the dates we wanted, well in advance. So if you’re after Villa Sebaa, do book as soon as you can.

What We Love about Villa Sebaa

  • The villa is really big. Pictures really do not do it justice. I’ve done a video, nothing professional. But it will give you a better idea of how much space you get.
  • The villa sleeps up to 12 people and even had 2 baby cots.
  • The private pool is a good size, gets good light and offers a good degree of privacy.
  • Daily cleaning done for us, absolute bonus.
  • We were able to hire a cook who made us breakfast, lunch & dinner, for an additional fee.
  • Good Wifi connection through out the property.
  • DVD Player to watch movies, for a relaxing evening in. You’ll need to take along some DVDs though.
  • The villa owner was responsive through out, if we had any issues.
  • Rooms all had their own air-conditioning. So no one was too hot or too cold.

The Living Space: There’s a Sofa Bed for two people. Flat screen TV with international channels, though not many English ones. The DVD player came in handy but you’ll need to bring your own DVDs. The Wifi is good through out the property, so you can also stream on devices if needs be.

📣TOP TIP : I always pick up DVDs from a local charity shop in the UK. Amazing what you can find for less than £1 sometimes, plus you get to support a good cause too. In Morocco, many places will not have English TV Channels available.

cous cous chef private pool villa marrakesh
Cous cous freshly prepared for our Friday lunch, by the cook.

📣TOP TIP : If hiring a cook, I recommend confirming a menu and grocery list in advance. That way you can have all your grocery shopping done in advance by the villa staff. Unless of course you know every ingredient that goes into making all these delicious Moroccan dishes !

Pool Details: Private Use & with a good degree of privacy, Dimensions 4mx 8m, 1.7m deep, not heated.

Pool access: Children must be supervised around the pool, at all times, as there is no fence around it.

How Private is the Pool ?

This is one of the questions that is rarely clearly answered on booking sites.

Due to neighbouring properties being in close proximity, there are 2 spots where if someone purposefully looked over, they would have a view of the pool. But we never had any issue, during our stay. There is a staff member who comes in the morning to clean the pool. He is very discreet and respectful of your privacy.

The Garden: Sun-beds, sun shades, outdoor terrace with dining table & chairs, BBQ (works with coal, cooking grills provided but coal will need to be purchased).

Juicy Moroccan watermelon is the perfect way to keep hydrated in the intense Summer Marrakesh heat, followed by a dip in the pool.

📣TOP TIP: Pick up some cheap toys from the Medina for the children to play with in the garden. As there is no outdoor play equipment.
